-Mountains with big, ominous clouds hanging low overhead, shot in black and white.

P.S. Babies? They're just miniature people, my friend -- unless you're suggesting we stop photographing human beings. We'll see how you feel about it when you get a little bundle of your own...
Yes, babies are people too, but the way most pictures are taken of them makes them more the wacky dolphins Eric mentioned. "Look! The baby has a napkin on his head! Where's the camera!?"

You're right Sam, once perfection has been attained in a genre, others need not offer their pitiable attempts.
I bet you could still take cool pictures of these things. Like a picture of a statue of a virgin mary being transported over a shaky bridge on the back of an old man in a crooked hat who also had a bottle of beer in his hand and a ray of light on his head.
I would like to add to that list any number of girls doing the charlie's angels holding the guns pose.
