boy does it ever, and i really like that jonze isn't using cgi for the wild things (at least those looked like actual costumes). i remember the book from preschool, but i hadn't picked up a copy since then until i was printing them at a publishing house in wisconsin last fall. it's about a sixty second read cover-to-cover: hardly enough for a script. sendak's illustrations are, of course, where the imagination is set free. really looking forward to the movie.
