Yea Or Nay

The doors to all sins are opened by Pride as one is pushed through by Desire.

Is it too obvious to refer to the love of money [being] the root of all kinds of evil text? Does pride drive a man to surrender to ambition? Maybe. It might just be the desire for more and those roots aren't always traced to pride.

My instinct is to say "yay" because that statement is so pithy.

types of sin:

lust of the flesh (physical)

lust of the eyes (emotional, jealousy, et cetera)

pride of man (desire to be great, including fame, power and control)

I like your sentence, I henceforth declare a yea.

Well, I believe it, even if it is pithy. It's too much for one sentence, kind of ridiculous to post now that I think about it...

i hope i am not too late in my posting but i think james says somthing about everyone being tempted by his own evil desire dragging away and enticing him and when that is full grown (maybe this is pride) it gives birth to sin....
